"The Saturday Park Run" by Jules Wake

What a fun read! It's been ages since I read a novel that was this much fun. So well written. Loved the characters and and the beauty of the surroundings they lived in. Wish I could go on a park run with them.

If you like a good book that relaxes you and makes you laugh, this one is for you!

 

"Surviving Savannah" by Patti Callahan

Patti Callahan brings to light a catastrophe which happened many years ago. The shipwreck she teaches you about and the lives who were taken, depicts a time when wealth, both in gold and silver as well as in slaves, meant everything. Prosperity was important. It meant everything to those who had it.

When horrible things happen to all people, this tragedy shows you how people are just that. People. People who need each other and respect each other no matter the race or wealth.

She brings to light finding the ship and teaching the city of Savannah what really happened those many years ago. 

For those who love historical fiction, this book is for you.
